She focuses on areas such as weight management, digestive health, hormonal health, intuitive eating, and functional nutrition for chronic conditions. After over 40 years of working with young families during pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum and lactation, my focus is now on the lactation journey for each individual family who chooses BWC for their baby’s care. I assist each family in reaching their feeding goals for their baby through one-on-one consultations. Together we gather information, establish short- and long-term goals and design a working plan for providing best nutrition for baby. I collaborate with other care providers as needed to ensure that every baby receives personalized and coordinated care.

She brings valuable experience as a registered nurse in a pediatric clinic and currently serves as a Certified Lactation Counselor and Postpartum Doula. Leah is actively working toward her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification as an intern with Applaud Breastfeeding Services to further expand her expertise in infant feeding and postpartum care.
